Tracing Our Wake Since 1976
What began decades ago as a passionate collegiate exploration of our local waters has grown into a life’s work. At Going Coastal, we believe every shoreline has a story, and every community deserves a gateway to connect with its maritime heritage and fragile coastal environments.
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we chart journeys across historic docks, vibrant shorelines, and urban waterfronts to revive forgotten history and champion coastal conservation. By bridging community culture with environmental awareness, we ensure our waters are not just looked at, but truly seen, protected, and explored.
