At Going Coastal, we’re on a mission to ensure our ecosystems thrive for generations to come! Our poster campaign to protect our waterways from the threat of aquatic hitchhikers – those pesky nuisance species that can wreak havoc on our beloved ecosystems. We asked boaters at boat launches, docks and marinas to take a few extra minutes to inspect and clean your gear every time you leave the water. Over the years, we’ve seen a significant reduction in the spread of nuisance species, ensuring the health and biodiversity of our ecosystems. Through community engagement, education, and proactive measures, we’ve not only protected our waterways but also set a standard for responsible conservation. As we celebrate two decades of success, we take pride in knowing that our Invasive Species Campaign has played a pivotal role in making our mission a reality.
